Client Service & Marketing Assistant (Part Time)

Essential Responsibilities
In a small business environment like Simply Placed, there are many and varied tasks to be accomplished. From administration, to client service and marketing, you handle it all. As the Client Service & Marketing Assistant, your role is to provide administrative support to the Company Owner in the following areas:
Administration
- Process AP, AR and Payroll in QuickBooks
- Manage company calendar, schedules appointments, arranges travel
- Manage company filing system, inventory and supplies, vendor and affiliate relationships
- Maintain company policy and procedures handbook
- Manage incoming mail and e-mail accounts
- Coordinate logistics for staff meetings, trade shows, training seminars and webinars
Client Services
- Respond to incoming phone, e-mail and internet inquiries, gathers information, answers questions and provides information on SP process and rates
- Maintain client information in CRM systems
- Coordinate client appreciation activities
- Perform customer satisfaction surveys
Marketing
- Coordinate direct mail and e-mail marketing campaigns, and monthly newsletter
- Write web, blog and newsletter content
- Participate in and monitors company social media profiles
- Conduct market research and lead generation activities
- Manage article submissions and coordinate speaking engagements
- Monitor and improve the company's online reputation
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Considerable experience in general office work including administrative support related to customer service or marketing
Required Skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to enter data accurately
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty and a strong work-ethic
- Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Strong business writing skills including the use of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Strong technical skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Internet Research and Social Networking
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, contractors, vendors, clients and the general public
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Able to work variable hours and flexible schedule depending upon work demands
- Experience with QuickBooks and WordPress a plus
Physical Requirements
- Regular sitting, talking and hearing.
- Frequently required to walk and use fingers, tools and controls
- Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms
- Vision abilities that include close vision, color vision and depth perception
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs.
Hours & Work Requirements
- This is a part-time position, 8-12 hours/week, with a flexible schedule between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday through Friday.
- Must be willing to work in a small business, home office environment
Pay & Benefits
- $12 - $16 / Hour DOE

Essential Responsibilities
Every organizing situation is unique. No two clients, moves, or spaces are the same. As a Professional Organizer, your goal is to listen to the client and help them identify their organizing challenges; create a plan that fits the client's personality, budget and goals; and work with them one-on-one to help them establish systems and processes using Simply Placed methodologies.
You will represent Simply Placed and our services to prospects and clients on the job, at tradeshows, seminars, networking and community events in a way that builds trust and leads to long-term relationships that extend beyond the end of the first project.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor degree preferred
- Organizing, customer service and sales experience

- Must be dependable and punctual
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational ability, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to teach, coach and train clients
- Must be open-minded and non-judgmental toward clients with organization challenges: Able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty and a strong work-ethic
- Exceptional communication skills, coupled with an outgoing personality
- Ability to listen, ask questions and understand clients' needs
- Ability to take charge of a situation and willingness to roll up sleeves and provide a hands-on approach
- Ability to visualize and transform a space, whether it's the home office, kitchen, garage or attic, etc.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, use a step stool or small ladder
- Organizing requires mental and physical stamina
- Working in many different households requires the ability to tolerate typical household odors from pets, smoke or fragrances
- Must be comfortable working around children and pets
Hours & Work Requirements
- Project locations and hours will vary depending upon the project. Most projects will be located on the Eastside
- Must be willing to work varied and flexible hours (more hours one week and fewer hours another) including an occasional evening or weekend
- Must have a cell phone with voicemail so Simply Placed and clients can reach you in a timely manner
Pay & Benefits
- $15 - $25/hour DOE
- Incentive pay for new business development
