According to the program’s organizer Kiantha Duncan, donations received
this year are 60 percent fewer than in years past.

She asks that we, “Please consider donating a minimum of one high end designer or couture
item for this year’s sale by October 5. Please ask friends, family,
neighbors and co-workers to join you by donating as well. Everyone that
donates will receive a buy one get one free coupon for admittance to our
VIP preview sale on October 14.

Items that typically sell quickly at the Closet Treasures Sale are the
following: designer handbags, shoes, one of a kind pieces, designer
cocktail dresses and wedding dresses. We accept designer items ranging
from Eileen Fisher to St. John and Gucci.”
