We wanted to tell you about two great events coming up to celebrate Earth Day. Take advantage of these two opportunities to clear some clutter and do some good!

Seattle on April 21st: Take advantage of two services in one day! Iron Mountain will have their truck on-site to shred your personal and sensitive documents. Plus, you can bring your old computers, TVs, and cell phones to donate to InterConnection.org, some electronics items will be reused for unemployed and low-income individuals and families and the rest is recycled. Items are tax-deductible donations and you will receive a tax receipt.

Free Earth Day Electronics Recycling and Data Shredding Event Saturday April 21st 9 am – 11 am. Windermere Real Estate, 7300 E Green Lake Drive N, Seattle, WA 98115.

Sammamish on April 29th: If you have piles of items you have been waiting to donate, this would be a perfect time to get rid of them and clear out some storage space. The Sammamish Spring Recycling Collection Event & Bin Sale is Sunday April 29th! They have two locations: Sunny Hills Elementary 3200 Issaquah-Pine Lake Rd. and Discovery Elementary 2300 228th Ave SE. At both locations, the event starts at 10:00 am and runs until 4:00pm.

They are taking a wide range of items like tires, mattresses, batteries, household goods and clothing, cardboard and much more. To see the entire list of what you can and can’t bring read the brochure. You can also buy worm bins and rain or compost barrels at Discovery Elementary for only $25.
