Upcoming Recycling Events

Saturday, April 20: The City of Sammamish is holding a Styrofoam and Latex Paint collection event at Sunny Hills Elementary School between 9am and 3pm. They’ll also be selling rain barrels, compost and worm bins. Get more details here.

Upcoming FREE Shredding Events

Securely disposing of paper clutter and documents that are past their retention date can be a struggle.  If you have more paper than you can process through your personal shredder, here is information on some upcoming FREE shredding events:

  • Saturday, April 20: The Windermere Issaquah office is sponsoring a “Free and Easy” Shred event from 10am to 2pm. More details, including location, here.
  • Saturday, April 27 between 11am and 3pm, bring your items for shredding to Cascade Ridge Elementary, where old bills or sensitive documents will be professionally destroyed on site. This event is sponsored by Cathy Santiago with Windermere Real Estate and Laney Shorett with RPM Mortgage.
  • Saturday, May 11: The Bellevue South Windermere office is sponsoring a “Free and Easy” Shred event from 10am to 2pm. More details, including location, here.
