Toss Items for Recycle: Tuesday Ten Minute Toss Challenge

Time for the Tuesday Ten Minute Toss Challenge! RIGHT NOW spend 10 minutes tossing old mattresses, Styrofoam, batteries, cardboard, wood, propane and electronics out of storage areas in your home in preparation for your local recycling collection event. Do you have old tires, motor oil, filters or antifreeze that you need to dispose of properly? Is your attic stuffed with household goods that could be recycled but you just don’t have room in your weekly pick-up? Are your storage rooms filled with old box springs, VCRs and television sets? Ten minutes is enough time to find items around your home that could go to your local recycling collection event for Earth Day. The Sammamish Spring Recycling Collection Event is Sunday April 29th and the Seattle Electronics Recycling and Data Shredding Event is Saturday April 21st so don’t delay, embrace today’s challenge and get ready for your local recycling collection event and Earth Day!

Ready, set, TOSS!

How do you celebrate Earth Day? We want to know!

If you have ideas for a Tuesday Ten Minute Toss Challenge, please let us know! In the meantime, check back weekly for a new challenge and make sure to join in the fun. We look forward to hearing about how you do with the challenges.
