Tech Talk Thursday: Organized Living

Every once in a while we like to publish a Tech Talk Thursday that’s not high-tech at all. In the days between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the hustle and bustle of the holidays slows a bit and allows us time to reflect on the past year and set new goals for the next. During this (relatively) quiet period, we have an excellent opportunity to focus on our home lives and evaluate what is working and what is not.

This article*, by Washington Post writer Michelle Singletary, is an inspiring piece on the merits of living an organized life. In a season often marked by excess and indulgence, it’s a good reminder that abundance comes in many forms and the most valuable is often intangible: family, friendship, and community.  And if one of your goals for 2013 is to live with more thoughtfulness and deliberate action in your life,  The Simple Living Guide is a great source of information and ideas.

As we move into the New Year, we at Simply Placed wish you a peaceful and productive time, filled with what you value most. Have you been inspired to get organized? Contact us – we’d love to help.
